ICC Rankings: Iyer Jumps 18 Places Into T20I Top Ten, Gill Equals His Career-Best Rating
Shreyas Iyer rises to a career-best seventh after his maiden T20I hundred, Shubman Gill extends his lead in ODIs and Rashid Khan returns to No. 1.

India's batters were the big movers in the latest ICC men's player rankings, with Shreyas Iyer breaking into the T20I top ten and Shubman Gill strengthening his position at the top of the one-day list.
Iyer up to seventh
Iyer climbed 18 places to a career-best seventh in the T20I batting rankings after his unbeaten 102 from 43 balls against West Indies in Lucknow. The innings, which included ten fours and six sixes, was his maiden T20I century and came in his 57th innings in the format.

He is now the third-highest-ranked Indian T20I batter, behind Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma, who occupy the top two places. Tilak Varma is tenth.
Gill extends his ODI lead
Gill remains the No. 1 ODI batter. His unbeaten 223 in the second ODI against West Indies in Guwahati earned him 25 rating points and took him to 841, equalling the highest rating of his career.
KL Rahul moved up seven places to tenth after his century in the third ODI, while Virat Kohli slipped one place to third.
Rashid Khan back on top
Afghanistan's Rashid Khan has returned to No. 1 in the T20I bowling rankings, replacing Pakistan's Abrar Ahmed. It is the eighth time Rashid has held the top position.

- Hasan Nawaz (Pakistan): up 62 to 48th among T20I batters
